CEO & President
Connor Deering joined Cemen Tech in June of 2014 from Apache Inc. where he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to Apache, Deering held several roles with the Mueller Co., his last role was Vice President / General Manager –Gas Products / Services Divisions where he had responsibility for the global Gas Products business and the execution of the strategic plan to grow Mueller Service Company. Deering holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio University and an MBA from Milikin University.
Chief Financial Officer
Josh Maurer joined Cemen Tech in August 2015. Prior to joining the team at Cemen Tech, Josh was the CFO for LBS, a manufacturer supplying the bookbinding industry. At LBS, Josh led the effort to transition ownership to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Prior to that, Maurer was an Audit Manager with LWBJ, LLP. Maurer holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Drake University and is a CPA.
Director of Sales & Marketing
Mark Rinehart joined Cemen Tech as Director of Sales and Marketing in August 2014 after eleven years with Ziegler Caterpillar. While at Ziegler CAT, Mark started as one of the first employees within their GPS division supporting construction customers throughout Iowa and Minnesota. He moved into additional technology roles before being promoted to Director of Technology where he managed all of the GPS related solutions the dealership offered. At that time, Ziegler CAT was the largest Trimble construction dealer in the world. Mark has a Bachelor’s Degree from Northwest Missouri State and a Master’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Director of Operations
Ken joined Cemen Tech in late 2016. Prior to joining Cemen Tech, Ken served as Vice President of Operations at Winegard, a respected world leader in the design and manufacture of innovative antenna products for satellite and terrestrial communications.
Director of Customer Service
Bryan joined Cemen Tech in April of 2018. Prior to joining Cemen Tech, Bryan held positions in several sectors of the manufacturing industry including aerospace, automotive, agricultural, and automatic merchandising with particular focus on management of quality systems and customer service. Bryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in management along with several professional certifications from the American Society for Quality in the areas of Six Sigma Black Belt, Quality Management, Quality Engineering, and Quality Auditing.
Director of Supply Chain
Brant Pfantz joined Cemen Tech in January 2021. Before Cemen Tech, Brant worked at Emerson-Fisher Controls for 14 years, where he performed numerous supply chain roles. As Marshalltown Operations Supply Chain Manager from 2014 to 2018, Brant was responsible for reducing lead-time, improving OTD, and implementing inventory management practices. In his last role at Emerson, Brant was the Director of Global Supply Chain and Additive Development. In that role, he was responsible for the long-term Strategy and Development and incorporating new Additive Technologies into the Global Supply Chain. Brant holds a Business Administration degree from Coe College.
Human Resources Director
Emily Lyons joined Cemen Tech in November 2020. Prior to joining Cemen Tech, Emily helped execute five acquisitions in two years, doubling the workforce as the Human Resource Director of a commercial printer. She has diverse Human Resource experience in manufacturing, publishing, marketing, healthcare, mortgage banking, and insurance. Emily holds a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University.
