Hugh and Eileen Tobler founded Cemen Tech as a marketing company, focusing on selling the world’s first mobile concrete mixer, the Concrete Mobile by Irl Daffin Company. Their innovative approach introduced the the original, and at the time only, mobile concrete mixer, setting the stage for decades of growth.
The first stationary volumetric mixer was delivered to a customer in Tulsa, Oklahoma, marking the beginning of the journey into mixer production. Just two years later, the first mobile mixer rolled out, setting a new industry standard.
Cemen Tech introduced its first mobile mixer, marking the beginning of our flagship product. This innovation set the standard for on-site concrete mixing and paved the way for the advanced mixers we offer today.
In 1989, Cemen Tech took a significant step by becoming an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company. By 1994, the company completed its transition to 100% employee ownership, empowering every team member to contribute to the company’s success.
In the 1990s, Cemen Tech diversified by developing Alka-Tech for wastewater biosolids treatment. In 1997, we partnered with Oshkosh Truck Corporation to create the Rapid Deployment Concrete Dispenser (RDCD) for the U.S. Army, expanding our reach into military applications. Throughout the 1990s, Cemen Tech’s products gained recognition across the U.S. and worldwide. Today, we operate in over 70 countries, supplying advanced equipment to military branches around the globe.
Cemen Tech and Oshkosh Truck Corporation were awarded a five-year contract to develop the Rapid Deployment Concrete Dispenser (RDCD) for the U.S. Army. This self-contained mixer, adaptable as both stationary and truck-mounted, replaced the aging fleet of Concrete Mobiles and showcased our advanced engineering capabilities.
The C Series was the first fully automated mobile mixer and set a new standard in precision and efficiency for on-site concrete mixing. With advanced electronic controls, operators can batch, measure, mix, pour, and analyze jobs in real-time, making the C60 the most innovative and efficient mixer on the market.
In 2019, Cemen Tech introduced ACCU-POUR™, a fleet-monitoring productivity solution for the volumetric concrete industry. This advanced software suite allows operators to manage their operations with accuracy and control, driving efficiency and profitability.
