Volumetric Mixer Tax Savings: Why Contractors Are Rushing to Buy Before Year-End

If you’re considering a volumetric mixer or other heavy equipment purchase, now is the time to act. Thanks to the newly passed One Big Beautiful Bill, businesses can take advantage of 100% bonus depreciation in 2025—allowing you to deduct the full cost of eligible new or used equipment placed into service this year.
💰 Why This Matters
Writing off a $400,000 mixer at a 21% federal tax rate results in $84,000 in tax savings—a compelling reason for businesses to act before year-end. Previously, Section 179 required taxable income to fully expense equipment, and bonus depreciation was phasing down (only 60% in 2024). Now, with 100% bonus depreciation back, you don’t need taxable income to benefit — a major win for smaller or newer businesses.
💸 What Is 100% Bonus Depreciation
The bill reinstates full bonus depreciation and doubles the Section 179 expensing limit to $2.5 million. It also raises the phase-out threshold to $4 million, meaning more businesses can deduct more, faster. Learn more from Section179.org and Warren Averett.
This is a major opportunity for contractors expanding operations or dealers aiming for strong Q4 sales
📈 Tax Incentives Driving Year-End Equipment Demand
Dealers nationwide are already seeing a surge in demand. Many are educating customers—especially newer businesses—on how to maximize volumetric mixer tax savings and other equipment deductions. It’s not just about selling machines; it’s about helping businesses grow smarter.
As reported by Equipment Finance News, sales managers are emphasizing education and relationship-building to help customers take full advantage of these incentives.
⏳ Limited Build Slots for Year-End Delivery
At Cemen Tech, we have only 5 build slots left for guaranteed delivery before year-end. A few were booked last week, and the rest are going fast.
Even if you’re financing or bundling the mixer with a larger facility investment, you may still qualify—just check with your CPA or review RSM’s bonus depreciation guidance to confirm your eligibility.
